Yahoo! Mash Launched

Yahoo! released their new social network website in early September 2007. It has been titled Yahoo! Mash. It is a somewhat cross between well known competitors MySpace and Facebook. One of the more interesting features of the new Mash service is the ability for other members to edit your profile! This feature can be turned off completely, or limited to special groups (family/best friends) to stop people messing with your Mash layout.

Mash is believed to be Yahoo's product, after their acquisition for Facebook did not take place. It is currently in a beta period and is invition only.
